PLOT (Wikipedia): A trio of cowboys, Vern (Cameron Mitchell), Wes (Jack Nicholson) and Otis (Tom Filer), stop to rest for the night at the remote hideout of a gang of outlaws led by Blind Dick (Harry Dean Stanton). In the morning, they find themselves surrounded by a vigilante hanging party and are forced to become fugitives due to a case of mistaken identity.

Otis is killed. So are accomplices of Blind Dick, who is lynched. Vern and Wes take refuge at a farm belonging to Evan (George Mitchell), who lives alone with his wife and daughter, holding them hostage until they can make an escape. After a member of the vigilantes passes by, the two try to take Evans horses and he shoots at them, wounding Vern before he is killed himself.

Wes and Vern ride off together on one horse with the posse in pursuit. Eventually Vern can go no farther but holds off the posse until Wes can safely get away.

Played by The Borodin Quartet With Alexander Buzlov (cello) — The Quintet was to be Schubert’s last completed chamber work. Just a few weeks after having completed the Quintet, Schubert died at three o’clock in the afternoon on November 19, 1828. It is widely believed to be among the handful of greatest chamber works ever composed.

The Borodin Quartet was formed in 1945 by four students from the Moscow Conservatory. Calling itself the Moscow Philharmonic Quartet, the group changed its name to Borodin Quartet ten years later and remains one of the very few existing established chamber ensembles with uninterrupted longevity. The current members of the Quartet are Ruben Aharonian, Sergei Lomovsky, Igor Naidin and Vladimir Balshin.

По мотивам произведений Эдуарда Хруцкого из цикла «ОББ».

Это история об отважных и бескомпромиссных следователях, которым приходилось защищать Родину в тылу – на «Третьем Московском фронте», где порой было опаснее, чем на полях боевых сражений.

В начале войны в Москву прибывает агент абвера Петр Прилуцкий (Александр Домогаров), он же в прошлом опасный рецидивист по кличке Крук. Немецкое командование поручает Круку дезорганизовать прифронтовую Москву, посеять панику и подорвать веру москвичей в скорую победу.

На фоне общей нестабильности в городе, как никогда раньше, начинают расцветать преступные «малины» и бандитские группировки. По городу ползут зловещие слухи, прокатывается волна массовых грабежей, под угрозой оказывается плановая эвакуация заводов и культурных ценностей.

В борьбу с криминальным миром столицы вступают начальник Отдела по борьбе с бандитизмом майор Иван Данилов (Михаил Ефремов) и его верные соратники: шутник и балагур Степан Полесов (Игорь Лифанов), самоотверженный оперативник Игорь Муравьев (Иван Стебунов), опытный муровец Антон Борисович Шевцов (Владимир Гостюхин) и беспощадная к преступникам Лидия Белова (Тамара Акулова).
